See the time recorded against each job

Technicians clock onto workshop work from a shared kiosk while managers keep control of corrections, unusual entries and access.

Key Benefits

Workshop PIN kiosk

Each location can use a dedicated kiosk session where technicians identify themselves by PIN and choose the job they are working on.

Job-linked time entries

Clocked time remains attached to the technician and job, with settings for assignment rules and what technicians are allowed to see.

Anomaly review

Managers can review stale open entries, overlaps, unassigned clock-ons, cancelled-job time, disputes and repeated PIN failures.

Visible corrections

A manager must provide a reason when editing or voiding an entry. The original values and correction remain visible to the technician.

Clock onto the job, not a separate timesheet

The time clock is part of the Motorworks job workflow. A technician opens the location’s kiosk, enters a PIN and clocks onto the work available to them. Managers decide whether unassigned jobs can appear and whether prices are hidden from technician accounts.

Corrections without quietly rewriting history

Forgotten clock-outs happen. Motorworks lets an authorised manager close, correct or void an entry, but requires a reason and retains the original record. The technician can see what changed instead of discovering a different total later.

Review the entries that need attention

The anomaly view pulls unusual clocking into one place. It highlights open entries beyond the configured threshold, overlapping time, work recorded against cancelled jobs, technician disputes and kiosk PIN failures. Staff can deal with the exceptions without reading every ordinary entry.

The time-clock module is enabled per Motorworks workspace during setup.

This feature is included in the Motorworks workshop system.
