Purchase orders become useful accounts records
A purchase order starts as an operational record. Once the supplier invoice arrives, Motorworks stores its reference, dates and payment terms against the same purchase. The purchase day book separates net, VAT and gross values and flags rows with incomplete invoice detail.
Record how a supplier was paid
A supplier payment can cover more than one purchase order. Motorworks records the payment batch and its method, reference and notes, then allocates the amount across the selected balances. Any unallocated amount remains visible for review.
See what is still due
Aged creditors show the remaining purchase balances in current, 1-30, 31-60, 61-90 and older buckets. Supplier returns and refunds feed the same balance calculation, and each supplier has a running statement of invoices, payments and credits.
Motorworks provides operational supplier-account records and exports. Your accountant remains responsible for the statutory ledger and tax filings.
